Hi there, my name is Nathalie and I am Haitian-American.
I was born in Port Au Prince, and moved to NYC when I was a teen and returned to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.
From 2011 to 2017, I set up and grew the Artisan Business Network, with the support of
dedicated partners and international funders.
The ABN network provided business, marketing and product development support to over 2,000
local artists and artisans. Their works have been sold in stores like Macy’s, West Elm,
Field Museum of Chicago and at many other retailers throughout the world. By creating links between the artisan communities and the global market, my team and I have empowered
hundreds of small businesses and independent entrepreneurs.
Over the years I have also hosted many groups in Haiti that included philanthropists,
politicians, artists, buyers, designers, bloggers and Haitian diaspora. Folks always mentioned
that the Haiti they experienced during their visit was nothing compared to the
country they saw in the media.
I enjoy sharing my love for this special place with visitors. My local connections and my
expertise of the behind-the-scenes culture make me the go to person for a well-curated
travel experience. "Explore with Nat" has also developed long term relationships with
well-known political figures, journalists, business leaders, bloggers and social media
influencers. With our collaboration, many have been able to share with their wide audience
the new Haiti narrative, using authentic and fair content.
If you're looking for an unusual and highly curated experience in Haiti, you have landed
in the right place.
